A avicultura de corte é uma atividade de grande destaque no agronegócio e a ambientação correta é um parâmetro de extrema relevância para obter melhores rendimentos na criação. Neste sentido, o trabalho visou realizar o balanço energético para determinar a quantidade necessária de calor para aquecimento de galpões avícolas visando a criação de frangos de corte e, assim, determinar a fonte de energia mais viável. Para isso, foram utilizados modelos de trocas de calor levando em consideração o calor gerado pelos animais e radiação da superfície do galpão, além do calor perdido por convecção e evaporação. The objective of this study was to evaluate the bioclimatic conditions of an experimental shed broiler Federal University of Vales do Jequitinhonha and Mucuri (UFVJM) in JK campus in Diamantina, MG. The assessment was made based on the measurement of environmental variables of air temperature, relative humidity, black globe temperature and air velocity within the facility, in 42-day trial. With the collected data we calculated the temperature and humidity index (THI), the black globe temperature and humidity index (BGTHI), the radiation heat load (RHL) and the enthalpy index (Hº). The objective of this research was the development of a knowledge base that can facilitate the gasifier selection mechanisms of biomass for energy production. For this, an expert system using the EXPERT FEEL as a tool was created, which recommends the best type of gasifier taking into account the characteristics of biomass to be used, the purpose of use of the synthesis gas generated and the desired thermal power. The knowledge base was obtained through the consultation of books and specialized articles in addition to consultation with experts in the biomass gasification branch. Digestible lysine for broilers from different commercial strains in the final phase Animal Sciences

This study aimed to evaluate different digestible lysine levels in diets for broilers chickens from different commercial strains, from 49 to 56 days of age, on performance and carcass characteristics. A total of 432 male broilers from 49 days old were used, with an average weight of 3560±250 g. It was used a completely randomized design in a factorial arrangement 3x4, and the birds, from three strains (Cobb 500, Hubbard Flex and Ross 308) were divided into four levels of digestible lysine (0.800, 0.950, 1.100 and 1.250%), with four replicates of 12 birds each. This review aimed to identify the importance of vitamin E dietary supplementation to broilers subjected to heat stress in relation to metabolism, growth performance and quality of animal products and its effects on immune system. Vitamin E is the concentration of tocopherol and tocotrienol, which can be found in natural or synthetic form. This vitamin is essential for the integrity of reproductive, muscular, circulatory, nervous and immune systems of the animals. The production of broiler chickens and industrial furniture manufacturing, are two very significant economic activities for Mesoregion the Zone of Mata Mineira. Both activities generate large amounts of waste in their production processes. It is estimated that the volume of poultry litter is generated around 78,624 tons/year. But the Polo furniture of Ubá produces an average of 480 tons/year. In almost all of the time these wastes are disposed in the environment at random, being characterized as environmental liabilities.
